INOPERABLE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

The 147.300 repeater is locate at Sacrifice Cliffs or RF Hill in Billings.  The repeater consists of a Micor radio, RLC-4 link controller, 6 can duplexer and a 4 pole antenna at 150 feet.  This repeater is linked to the Red Lodge repeater on 147.360 and then on to Little Wolf repeater on 147.240 near Colstrip,  MT.  Going North from this site the repeater is linked to the Bull Mountain repeater on 145.410.  All repeaters use a 100hz PL.

This site is also the home of the remote base repeater on 449.250 and the local packet nodes and backbone.

30tower.jpg (80686 bytes) At the top of this tower is a 4 pole dipole array for the 2 meter repeater.  If you look close you can see several single dipoles that are used for packet and a cross band repeater.  Also you can see several UHF yagi's that are used for linking to the different sites.  The 20gHz dish is used for a local TV microwave link.
