There are presently seven APRS
digipeaters between Bozeman and
Fallon. There is also an
Igate onto the internet in
Billings - N7VR-1.

Montana APRS Spring
Gathering 2004
Rex, KIØBJ organized a Spring APRS gathering on March 27th
here in Billings. The meeting was well attended by local
as well as Hams from around the state and Wyoming. There
are APRS stations "on the air" in the following locations
in Montana: Billings, Bozeman, Miles City, Forsyth, Great Falls,
Helena, Kalispell and Yellowtail. The APRS Digipeater
system covers from Bozeman to the North Dakota state line and
south to Sheridan, WY. In Wyoming there are stations in
Casper, Cheyenne, Gillette, Laramie and Sheridan.
